Amy sharpAn Australian teenager has requested media to use another picture of hers as the one given to them by the police did not show her in good light, creating a chaos on social media.

Amy Sharp, 18, fled from a police station where she was kept under custody last week in Sydney. The police, in order to catch her, carried two of her pictures along with a statement that were shown on various TV channels.

When Australia’s TV channel 7 News Sydney’s Facebook page reported about the search for Sharp, she was the first one to react by uploading a picture of her smiling. “Can you use this photo please, and thank you. Yours truly, Amy Sharp XX,” she wrote.

Sharp is not the first fugitive to be displeased with the mugshot given. In Ohio, US, a man sent the photo, a selfie with a note, “Here is a better photo that one is terrible.”

Sharp’s comment has so far attracted more than 61,000 likes on FB.
