At least 40 policemen were killed in a suicide bombing attack on June 20 on the outskirts of Kabul, Afghanistan.
According to a BBC report, a bus travelling from Wadrak to Kabul was carrying police personnel when it was attacked by a suicide bomber.
In an email sent to the Associated Press by spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid, Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.
“We are working on details of today’s terrorist attacks on Police convoy in Kabul, we will release updates shortly,” Afghanistan Internal Affairs Ministry spokesperson Sediq Sediqqi tweeted.
