Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi, on Friday, said he will exposed the Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP Government and added that he will also take adequate action for making such ‘baseless’ allegations against him and his force.
The top cop said he is not all worried about false allegations. “I am not worried about false advertisements and allegations against me. I am not scared of any one who calls me a deceiver. In my entire life, I have followed the path of law and honesty,” he said.
Claiming that he works with honesty, Bassi said he is gathering details on the allegations. “If necessary, I will also take adequate action. I will bring truth out in front of the people and expose these liars,” he added.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal complained against the Delhi Police to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), accusing it of trying to ‘hound’ ruling AAP MLAs by reopening old cases and creating new ones against them.
On November 7, Kejriwal, in a letter to the MHA, said the Delhi Police was not cooperating with his government on several issues. He also mentioned 10 specific complaints against the city police.
The Delhi Police has rejected the charge and issued a point-by-point rebuttal in response to Kejriwal’s letter to the Union home ministry.
