After the wave of internal political crisis among AAP members goes down to some extent follows a raging power struggle between Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung. The Delhi chief minister has instructed bureaucrats not to follow orders from L G Najeeb Jung without running it by him. The Delhi chief minister will meet President Pranab Mukherjee today.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said: “It is hereby ordered that any direction or order, whether oral or written, received from Honorable LG or his office to the Chief Secretary or any administrative Secretary, shall first be submitted by the concerned administrative Secretary/Chief Secretary on the file to the Minister in charge and the Chief Minister for a decision.”

The duo AAP rival Yogendra Yadav and Prashant Bhushan formed group “Swaraj Abhiyan”, surprisingly, backed in supporting the Delhi Chief Minister. They say the choice of a democratically elected government should be respected.

Swaraj Abhiyan also support of AAP’s stand for full statehood to Delhi. A statement from the group said, “Swaraj Abhiyan considers the demand for full statehood to Delhi as a genuine one. Parties like Congress and BJP have been adopting double standards and fooling the people on a critical issue. In the spirit of the democracy and benefit of citizens, we believe that important government decisions should always be taken with the elected government in confidence.”

Meanwhile, BJP slammed the Delhi Chief Minister to stop “dictatorial behavior”. “It is a totally disgraceful act by the chief minister. I think Mr Kejriwal is frustrated a lot and he is incompetent to run a government so he has locked the room of a senior official and without any reason,” said, Vijender Gupta, BJP leader.
