In the escalating the war of words ahead of the third phase of Bihar Assembly election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, mocking Nitish Kumar, said, “there is a Lalu virus in your computers”. He slammed the Bihar CM for his promise of providing computers to the youth in the state.
Slamming the grand alliance, PM Modi said, “In the past 25 years, neither Nitish nor Lalu have done anything for Bihar’s progress.” He was addressing a rally in Buxar.
“There are 40 seats (of the Congress) where there is no contest. They ruled Bihar for 35 years and they must tell people what they did,” PM added.
PM Modi stressed on the development of Bihar. “ I have a six-point programme for Bihar’s development. Basic necessities like power, roads and water will help Bihar progress,” Modi said.
Meanwhile, former Bihar CM and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad challenged PM Modi for a debate in English on the ‘burning issue’ the country is facing. “If not in English he can have debate in Hindi also on all the burning issues but I’m afraid he avoids challenges,” Lalu tweeted.
