Robert Vadra and his associate Manoj Arora got their two-way economy tickets upgraded to first class on at least 10 occasions. Vadra and his mother travelled to London and Milan on upgraded tickets. They were also provided MAAS facilities on every trip.

An internal mail from Jennifer D’Silva, chief executive assistant to Jet Airways chairman Naresh Goyal, to Vinod Sareen, vice-president, corporate communications, is an eye-opener.

To accommodate Bhushan and his family, Jet, in fact, offloaded confirmed passengers. The CBI asked Jet how many tickets were given to officials on the DGCA’s recommendation. But it seems the DGCA chief himself chose to avail the freebie.
