In the journey of Salman Khan’s 100 crore mark films, his latest released Bajrangi Bhaijaan has crossed the 100 crore mark at the box office in just 3 days. The film has now become Salman Khan’s 8th film to cross the 100 crore mark.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan has crossed Rs 100 crore in the opening weekend in India, tweeted, Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh. He tweeted that it is ‘achche din aa gaye’ as film trade is in ecstatic mood. After ‘Baahubali’, it is raining blockbusters with ‘Bajrangi Bhaijan’, he added in a series of tweets.
The Kabir Khan’s directorial has collected Rs 27.25 crore on Day 1 and in just a weekend has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark. On Friday, the film collected 27. 25 crore, 36.60 crore on Saturday and 38.75 crore on Sunday, totaling Rs. 102.60 crore. The film also beat Aamir’s PK that had collected Rs. 95 crore, in weekend one.
The film also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and child actor Harshaali Malhotra in the lead roles. The film tells a story of a mute Pakistani girl, who gets lost in India and how Pavan (Salman Khan) helps her in reuniting with her family. The film hit theaters on July 17.
