After a long wait, and many delays, actors, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone, eventually launched the first track from this his much awaited release, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s, Bajirao Mastani. The track is titled ‘Gajanana’, and is a dedication to Lord Ganesh; the lyrics and music have been inspired by the well known Ganesh aarti, sung mainly in the state of Maharashtra. The song has been sung by Sukhwinder Singh, and choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant.
The rumored to be dating duo were on their way to Pune, to launch the power-packed Ganesh aarti, when their ride was disrupted by the cloud cover over the city. Ranveer Singh was on the job, and quick to update his fans, via his various social media pages:
After the exasperating hold-up, the two actors were finally able to make their way to the Bhalewadi Stadium in Pune, where their fans waited with baited breaths.
The Band Baaja Baraat actor did not wait a single second in keeping his fans up to date with their whereabouts.
They launched the song, in the presence of Sukhwindar Singh, and many of their fans. Ranveer, in his usual style, played along, and performed the song, brimming with excitement, much to everyone’s expectations.
They made their way back from Pune, and Ranveer, once again, through social media, thanked his fans for being around, and supporting him and Padukone.
