Karuna John

Associate Editor

Karuna John, 36, wakes up every morning, looking forward to a day full of news and views. For over a decade and a half, Karuna has reported on subjects as intense as the municipal corporation to things as inane as politicians and their promises. In between those, Karuna has written on crime, gender politics, education, fashion, books, food, dance and travel. She has been on reporting and editorial teams of leading publications and has reported from Jammu to the Andamans, covering issues ranging from the price of dried apples to Tsunami rescue ops. Karuna knows that there are a million things waiting to be discovered but is willing to settle for learning one new thing a day.
