PM opens 3 hydro power projects in HP; applauds Indian Army

Narendra ModiPrime Minister Narendra Modi on October 18 praised the Indian Army for its valour and carrying out the surgical strikes across PoK. He said that the Indian Army has shown that they are second to none.

Modi said this while addressing a rally in Mandi district in Himachal Pradesh, where he inaugurated three state-run mega hydro power projects—Kol Dam (800 mw), Parbati ( 540 mw) and Rampur ( 412 MW) and dedicated them to the state.

Evoking former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s memory, Modi also sought to strike a chord with the crowd amassed for his maiden rally in the state.

Giving the call for a Congress mukt Himachal, the Bharatiya Janata Party had shown Modi’s arrival in the state as a true homecoming for the PM.

While talking about One Rank, One Pension project which was gathering dust for 40 years, he said “It was our government completed that work. Now soldiers and their families bless me.”
