Photojournalist case: Three held guilty for repeated offence

Mumbai, Apr 3 (PTI): A sessions court here today held guilty three convicts in the Shakti Mills photojournalist gangrape case under an amended IPC section, which entails death penalty, for committing repeated offence.

Principal Sessions Judge Shalini Phansalkar-Joshi convicted the accused – Vijay Jadhav (19), Kasim Bengali (21) and Mohammed Salim Ansari (28) – under section 376(e) (repeated offence of rape) of the Indian Penal Code.
