Pakistan it seems is hell bent on violating the ceasefire at will. In its latest violation, a BSF trooper was killed in Pakistan firing across the line of control (LoC), in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district. Pakistan Rangers also violated the ceasefire agreement on the international border in Arnia sector of Jammu district, once again targeting BSF border outposts with small arms and automatics.

It is important to mention that Pakistan’s violation of the bilateral ceasefire on the LoC and the international border in Jammu and Kashmir, came on a day the Indian army returned an 11-year old boy to the Pakistan army who had inadvertently crossed the LoC, in the Valley.

The boy was returned during a flag meeting called specially for this purpose after the Indian army gave new clothes and sweets to the strayed boy as a goodwill gesture.
