Pakistan Blames India After Video Exposed Pakistani Govt Brutality In PoK

Pakistan blamed India for the disturbances in the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, just a day after the a video exposing Pakistan government’s brutality in PoK came to fore. Pakistan said the visuals were doctored and called it a propaganda of the Indian media.

Pakistan’s National Security Advisor Sartaj Aziz said, “Pakistan remains committed to finding a just and peaceful resolution to the Jammu and Kashmir dispute. Pakistan’s principled position on the Kashmir dispute is based on the UN Security Council Resolutions, which remain unimplemented to this day.”

He further said “India decided to try to quell the Kashmiri struggle by use of brute force. As a result, more than 90,000 Kashmiris have been killed by Indian security forces over the last two decades in Indian Occupied Kashmir.”

Speaking about the recent video, Aizaz said, “It’s a propaganda. Pakistan has always raised the voice for the Kashmiris. Whole world is watching how Pakistani flags are being raised in Kashmir (Indian Side). From our side it will only be political, moral and diplomatic support for them and that we will continue to extend but there is no answer for the propaganda.”

On Tuesday, a video of protest against the Pakistani government in several areas of PoK, including Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and Kotli surfaced in the national media. “Videos of Pakistani brutality in areas of Kashmir occupied. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Jitender Singh, who represent Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur in the Lok Sabha, pointed that residents of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir have been suppressed and tortured by Islamabad since 1947.
