A mojor fire broke in a shopping center at Bandra west, Linking Road amid the downpour that halt movement of vehicles in many part of Mumbai. The fire started after leather and plastic items caught fire which caused the fire to spread quickly.
According to reports, the shopping center that also houses a KFC outlet was covered in smoke and around eight fire engines were rushed to the spot. As per sources, no one have been injured or trapped in the incident.
The city’s normal life was also disrupted once again as heavy rains lashed the city.Train services on western and central lines were hit due to the water-logging in some parts following incessant showers.
