Ahead of the Bihar polls later this year things are really hotting up on the alliance scenario. After the talk of Janata Parivar unity now comes another alliance in the offing. Recently , Former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Manjhi denied equations of joining hands with the saffron brigade. However, he hinted strong possibilities of post election alliance. It was Manjhi’s first such meeting after stepping down as Bihar CM in February this year.
Manjhi has been long time admirer of PM Modi. Closeness between the former Bihar CM and BJP(Bhartiya Janta Party) leaders laid political fiasco in the state.
Any such pre or post alliance might help BJP’s (Bhartiya Janta Party) in Bihar assembly election which likely to take place by the end of 2015. Interestingly, Manjhi will play instrumental role in garnering mahadalit vote bank, which currently with Nitish Kumar’s Janta Dal (United).
