The Haridwar Food and Drug Administration filed a legal notice against actor Madhuri Dixit for endorsing Maggi.

Recenlty, samples collected from Uttar Pradesh showed high content of monosodium glutamate (MSG) after which questions have been arising as to how true the slogan ‘Taste Bhi Health Bhi’ is?

A case will be registered against Dixit if she fails to reply to the notice within 15 days.

Dixit might also have to answer on how Maggi noodles is good for health and on what basis she is defending it.

The health experts suggest that such additives, can cause nausea, headaches, stomach upset and body weakness, are harmful to children’s health.

Nestle, the brand that heads the Maggi production had recently taken to the micro-bloggin site twitter to deny these reports saying, “We do not add MSG to Maggi noodles.”
