Taking potshots against the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad said the people of Bihar will not let any outsider rule the state.
In a tweet, he said on 5 October “Does anyone know Bihar better than Nitish and Lalu? We will not let the people from Gujarat destroy the state.”
Likening Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the erstwhile Dhritarashtra, Lalu said that that PM was afraid. “This Dhritarashtra is not only blind, but also deaf and dumb. The BJP leaders are free to create anarchy in the society. This Dhritrashtra is afraid. He only shouts, when it is needed,” he tweeted.
Also he held BJP responsible for bringing beef politics into the polls. This is not the first time that Lalu is attacking Modi on Twitter. In a tweet posted on October 2, Lalu Yadav even held Modi responsible for the death of Mahatma Gandhi.
Not just Twitter, Lalu had on 4 October debuted on Dubsmash to mock Modi in a video over his promise to bring back black money. In the 17-second video, Lalu mimicked Modi who in his Lok Sabha poll campaign had said ‘acche din aayenge‘ (better days are ahead) and had promised that every citizen would get Rs 15 lakh once black money is brought to India.
