Only Twitterati can play humour in terror

WHAT went viral: Harshvardhan’s letter to PM Modi

WHO: #Harshvardhan

WHEN: September 25

WHERE: Twitter

WHY: Because people found laughter in Harshvardhan’s pledge to study 3 more hours every day

HOW it got triggered: On September 25, PM Narendra Modi addressed the nation on Mann Ki Baat, while starting the talk with the terrorist attack in Uri. Then he talked about a class XI student Harshvardhan who had written him a letter saying that Uri attacks disturbed him a lot and he wanted to do something for the nation but since he is still a student he cannot do much. “What can a student like me do?” PM quoted him in Mann Ki Baat.

“That’s when I pledged to study 3 more hours every day so I can become a responsible citizen of the country.”
While Modi praised the student, Twitterati found another reason to start a troll. Let’s see what twitter had to offer the young student.

Roflindian @Roflindian tweeted, “In truth, Harshvardhan wants to study for 3 hours more because these days his crush is getting quite pally with the topper of their class.”

Why google shows Indian flag when you type ‘namak haraam country’?

Untitled-21

WHAT went viral: Google’s hilarious answer for ‘Namak Haram Country’
WHO: #Google
WHEN: September 27
WHERE: Twitter
WHY: Because people love to jump to conclusion
HOW it got triggered: If you go by the latest Twitter trend, Google ‘namak haraam country’ then you’ll find the search engine showing India in the result. Tweeple went crazy and started comments as “derogatory and unexpected from Google” whereas the reason why India popped up as the result of namak haram was simply filmy.
All credit goes to ‘Namak haraam’, a popular 1973 Hindi film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna and Rekha. Google knows very well that bollywood is the lifeline of Indians. Now, if India doesn’t pop-up next to a very popular Indian film, we’d be quite upset. Isn’t it?
But google’s result made Twitterati go berserk. Let’s look how.

Comments
Kamran Ali @Kami_alpha tweeted, “After labeling #Modi the most idiot PM in the world, presenting the most Namak Haraam country in the world

Raheela @Its_RahiiJoyo Raheela tweeted, “Actually Namak haraam is name of Movie so when we type”namak haraam country”it means name of country where namak haraam movie have been made”
