96,895 male aspirants and 20,342 female aspirants appeared for the prestigious exam.
According to records from IIT Bombay, 26, 456 candidates qualified for admission to IITs and NITs. Satvat Jagwani, who scored 469 topped the exam. Satvat Jagwani is from Satna in Madhya Pradesh.

The Indian School of Mines (ISM)-Dhanbad, The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology in Rae Bareli, UP, Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER), the Indian Institute of Space and Science and Technology in Thiruvananthapuram and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, apart from the IITs, accept scores of the JEE Advanced Results, for admissions.
