IPL 8 : When David Miller’s six saw a constable in Kolkata lose an eye

South African and Kings XI Punjab batsman  David Miller is shocked to find out that  a Kolkata constable lost his eye after being hit by him . According to media reports , Alok Aich, a constable with the Kolkata Police, was on duty in block ‘G’ at the Eden Gardens when Miller smacked KKR pacer Andre Russell for a six and the shot hit Aich smack in the right eye.

A shell- shoked Miller later expressed his shock and sadness on Twitter.”I am still in a state of shock and deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Mr Aich’s eye. A freak accident! My prayers are with u,” Miller tweeted.

The 53-year-old constable was at once taken to the Cricket Association of Bengal’s medical centre before being admitted to an Alipore hospital.
