For his outstanding achievement as an entrepreneur, relentless pursuit in excellence in life saving awareness, through his numerous charitable initiatives, and being a humanist with a mission, Boby Chemmanur has added yet another feather in his cap.
Recently, the Indo-American Press Club ( IAPC) honoured Boby Chemmanur with the Sathbhavana Award at a glittering ceremony in New York, during an International Media conference. The high profile event saw presence of several eminent journalists from all over the world.
Boby Chemmanur received the award from Barry Grodenchick, Vice president of Queen’s Borough, Democratic party leader and former New York state assembly man, IAPC chairman Ginsmon Zacharia, General Secretary Vineetha Nair, Exec Vice president Fr Johnson Punchakonam. After being felicitated, Boby released the 2015 IAPC souvenir, along with renowned social activist Daya Bai, who was feted with the Satkarma Award, for her brilliant work in social activities.
An overwhelmed Boby – himself a 812 km unique run record holder – after receiving the award, announced that, he is keen to spread his business and charity activities in the United States too. A the first step towards his new goal the opening of a new jewellery showroom in Houston this November.
