What do you think of the recent rape in Delhi?
This time there was such a hue and cry because the girl died after the brutality that was inflicted on her. Otherwise it’s just an everyday affair that no one talks about.
Do you believe women are to blame for these incidents?
It is so in most cases. The lifestyle of girls in the big cities invites such incidents. Otherwise why would a boy get himself into such trouble?
Do you think rapes happen more in big cities than in small towns and villages?
Yes. No one would dare to rape a girl in the villages here out of fear for their life. The panchayats act more responsibly than the police in the cities. Here people are punished, even murdered, for less violent crimes. In small town and villages, women don’t go out at night.
Do you have a girlfriend?
No, I don’t. I like a girl, but I don’t want to go out with her. It’s not something my family would approve of.
Are you comfortable with the idea of pre-marital sex?
Pre-marital sex and free interaction between girls and boys will only make way for these crimes.
Have you ever seen any violence on a female member of your family?
No. Why should anyone beat them up as long as they are not doing anything wrong?
Do you think women have enough freedom in this country?
Of course, they have. They are going out, driving cars, working in offices, wearing jeans. What more freedom do they need?
