pic.jpgIn yet another spat of words between India and Pakistan, Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj on July 10 hit out at her Pakistan counterpart for not showing “the courtesy even to acknowledge” her letter to him.

This happened when Swaraj, in a series of tweets lashed out at Pakistan’s Foreign Affair head Sartaj Aziz for not responding to her letter in which she urged him to grant a visa to the mother of Kulbhushan Jadhav.

Notably, India and Pakistan have already exchanged heats over Jadhav, Indian national who is on a death row in Pakistan.
External affairs minister’s comments came in the wake of recent news covered by Pakistani media about India’s refusal over medical visas to people from that country. While clearing the air over the issue, Swaraj said any Pakistani national asking for a medical visa would be granted immediately if Aziz recommended it.

But I assure Pakistan nationals seeking medical visa with a recommendation from Mr.Sartaj Aziz, we will issue the visa immediately. /9

She even added that it’s Aziz’s fault that Pakistanis who are in need of urgent medical attention are unable to come to India. India is happy to grant medical visas, she assured Pakistanis.

“But I assure Pakistan nationals seeking medical visa with a recommendation from Mr.Sartaj Aziz, we will issue the visa immediately,” said the Foreign Minister.
