In what can be called a shocking allegation, Pakistan accuses India of involvement in the deadly Peshawar massacre, which claimed at least 150 lives, including 136 school children, in 2014. The country further claims that it was the Sharif administration who proposed NSA-level talks in Ufa, Russia.
According to media reports, Pakistan said that they were preparing to raise the issue of an alleged Indian role in Peshawar, Baluchistan, FATA and Afghanistan, during the talks. The allegation comes, even after the responsibility of the attack had been already claimed by Pakistan Taliban.
Ahead of the high-level talk between the two countries next month, Pakistan is preparing a dossier on “India’s role in fomenting terrorism in Balochistan and Karachi” during the talk. The dossier will likely be carried by Sartaj Aziz, who is also Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s adviser on foreign affairs. In the Peshawar attack, the Pakistani Taliban had slaughtered at least 150 people in a brazen attack on the Army Public School on December 16, 2014.
