Former Miss World and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is set for her big return not only on screen, but off- screen as well. According to media reports, the beauty who is staging a return to Bollywood after five years with Sanjay Gupta’s ‘Jazbaa’ on 9 October will have another event to signal her much awaited comeback . The gorgeous Aishwarya is all set to perform at the opening ceremony of the Indian Super League (ISL) football tournament on 3 October.
Her opening ceremony act will be choreographed by none other than Bollywood’s ace choreographer Shiamak Davar. Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan is the co-owner of Chennaiyin FC team along with Vita Dani and India’s ODI and Twenty20 skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The first match of the league is between Chennaiyin FC and Atlético de Kolkata and it will be held at Chennai’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The music director AR Rahman will also reportedly performing at the opening ceremony.
The ex Miss World will perform to her hit numbers such as Crazy Kiya Re from Dhoom 2, Dola Re from Devdas and a song from Robot.
Well, it seems that Aishwarya is thrilled to be performing at the event as she would also be supporting hubby Abhishek Bachchan’s team Chennaiyin FC on that day. She will be seen to a medley of her songs from various hit films — including Crazy Kiya Re from Dhoom 2, Dola Re from Devdas and a song from Robot. Aaj Raat Ka Scene Banaa Le from Jazbaa has also been incorporated.”
