The Nexus range could have been Google’s flagship smartphone but a product not marketed by the tech giant and hardly marketed by its partners like LG, HTC etc has resulted in the Google Nexus ending up as just a benchmark Android smartphone. Hence, it only serves as a point of reference for smartphone manufacturers who use the android operating system.
The latest iteration Google Nexus 6 has been made by Motorola and is powered by Google’s Android Lollipop operating system. The Android smartphone that is said to have the perfect package of the hardware with Google’s Android operating system has been made available on an ecommerce site during Google’s Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) for a starting price of Rs 43,999 for the 32 GB model and Rs 48,999 for the 64 GB version. Presently, the device will only be available through Google Play store and Flipkart. What’s interesting is that the latest Nexus smartphone is expensive as compared to its predecessors which have been extremely popular for offering high-end features and specifications at competitive prices.
The Nexus 6 boasts big 5.9 inch display and will be available in Midnight Blue or Cloud White colour options.
