Tainted team India pacer Shantakumaran Sreesanth has finally got something to cheer about. No he has not been exonerated from the match-fixing charges of the IPL 2013. In fact, the controversial bowler was blessed with a baby girl on Saturday. Sreesanth expressed his joy on twitter saying both mother and daughter are doing well.
Sreesanth got hitched to his long-time sweetheart Bhuvneshwari hailing from a royal family in Rajasthan in 2013. The duo has become proud parents now. The medium pacer tweeted that fatherhood is “the best feeling in the whole universe”. He also expressed his gratitude towards his well-wishers for their prayers.
Sreesanth was given a life ban following his alleged involvement in spot-fixing during the 2013 edition of the Indian Premier League and the bowler has not played any international matches since.
