Peter Mukerjea has been sent to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) custody, till 30 November. The former media baron, who was taken to New Delhi for two days of questioning by senior CBI officers in the Sheena Bora murder case, was brought to Mumbai, on the morning of 26 November, as his CBI custody ends today.

He was produced in a magistrate court later, where the CBI is likely to seek his custody to further question him in connection with the sensational murder case. Peter, husband of Indrani Mukerjea, was arrested on November 19, and granted CBI custody till today, by a special court in Mumbai.

Sheena, 24, was Indrani’s daughter from an earlier marriage, and she was allegedly killed by her mother, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna, and her former driver Shyamvar Rai, in April 2012.
