Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt won the 200-meter sprint at the World Athletics Championships posting his fastest time of the year, with 19.55 seconds. As usual the star was celebrating his win, he did a backward roll after beating his chest.
During the celebration of the his latest gold medal, suddenly a cameraman lost control of his motorised scooter as it rolled over a post and crashed into the fastest-man’s leg.
After the incident, the fastest human ever told the reporters that accident happens and he will be alright. “Accidents happen. I have a few cuts but it is nothing that I have never done to myself in training. I will be all right.”
Winning the 100 meters always gives you confidence, without a doubt,” Bolt said. “But as I told you guys coming into the world championships, the only thing I was really worried about was the fact that I didn’t get to race a lot through the season. But the rounds really helped me, and the more I ran, the better I felt. Bolt has won 10 world championship gold medals in total, one more than the American Allyson Felix, who won her ninth gold about 15 minutes before Bolt raced on Thursday.
