The infamous Vyapam Scam which has shocked the roots of Madhya Pradesh, is being termed by BJP leader Kailash Vijaywargiya as a “small incident”, even after the country’s Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) has been appointed as a watchdog over the entire scene.
“For us it (Vyapam) is a chutput (small) incident. It may be big for you,” Vijaywargiya, the national general secretary of BJP, told reporters.
Vijaywargiya had also simmered the scene, after the death of TV journalist Akshay Singh, who was investigating the unnatural deaths in the scam, by his insensitive remark, “Is a journalist bigger than me?”. He later denied making such a statement.
Expressing himself and his beliefs about the issue, he made a snappy remark, saying,”Those whose morale is down should have concern for it. Our morale is not down on the issue.”
He was interacting with the media on the BJP’s “Maha-Jansampark Campaign” or mega membership drive.
