Barely a day after Samajwadi Party’s walked out  from the grand alliance, Janata Dal (United) leader KC Tyagi said Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Yadav will meet SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.

“Today Lalu Yadav will meet with Mulayam Singh Yadav ji and everything will be cleared. We will be successful in clearing this internal misunderstanding. Mulayam Singh is our leader, he cannot leave us,” said Tyagi.

Terming the situation as “unfortunate”, Tyagi said, “It would have been better if we could have been saved from this.” Yesterday, the Samajwadi Party withdrew its support from the RJD-JD(U) alliance just before the Bihar polls.

Earlier on Thursday, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Thursday had dubbed Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh Yadav as a ‘guardian’ of Janata Parivar, dding that the alliance would stay united to fight the communal forces.

“Mulayam is our guardian, more than that he is our relative and he must have been upset due to some reasons…It is the need of the hour to stay united to fight communal forces. If Mulayam is upset about something, we will definitely try to make things right.”
