Actor-turned politician Shatrughan Sinha will miss from poll campaign for the upcoming Bihar Assembly election which is organized on the occasion of 124th birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar. BJP leaders Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah will launch the election campaign for the assembly election to be held later in this year.
Meanwhile, the BJP MP Sinha has been missing from posters and campaign materials ahead of the BJP’s Patna rally. “It’s our own people who have been indulging in such tactics regularly,” Sinha alleged, when a media question rises regarding his absence from campaign posters.
“Whether I got invitation or not or why not invited. Why not seen in party campaign. It’s all within the family (party),” Sinha told media, when asked whether has he been invited. I am not in any race for the post of chief minister and have no wish for the post, Sinha added.
Earlier, State BJP president Mangal Pandey said, “Our leaders Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh will launch the campaign for Bihar Assembly polls at the mega workers’ convention tomorrow. At least three workers from each of the around 62,000 booths in the state will participate in it,”
“They will apprise the workers of the steps taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government for the development of Bihar. They will take the message to each and every house in villages. They will ask voters to take a vow to remove Jungle raj-2 from the state,” Pandey had added.
