On the first day of collection, SS Rajamouli’s film, “Bahubali”, stunned the box office and smashed all existing collection records, after making 50 crores, which is the highest ever first day box office collection in the history of Indian Cinema. Building business upto 40% on the day 2, in the Hindi version.
Expected to roar success, it has very well proved to be the highest 1st weekend box office collection. 2nd and 3rd day collection of “Bahubali” increases as compared to day 1. First Weekend Total Box Office collections of Bahubali have crossed Rs. 160 Crores in just 3 Days.
The Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer, released on 10th July, 2015, carrying a heavy budget of Rs 250 crores on its shoulders, had created enough buzz in the industry due to its multiple production house quotient, as well as the budget being recorded as the most expensive of all times.
Shot for over 3 years, SS Rajamouli’s directorial project, the movie has been receiving rave reviews from fans and critics, appreciating the graphics as well as the storyline which is centered around a violent clash and series of confrontations between two brothers for the control of a kingdom.
