Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s therapy started on at Jindal Naturecare Institute with an early morning regimen of waking up at 5:30 am and Yoga therapy. During his ten day stay , Arvind Kejriwal will be put on a strict dietary controls to balance his high blood sugar levels and chronic cough. Soon after his arrival at the institute, doctors recorded his case history for further evaluation and measure improvement. They started him on rejuvenating therapies such as mudpack, oil massage, steam bath and abdomen pack.
“Once he is here for ten days, we will put him on a routine, so he gets used to this routine … so whatever he learns here, he should try to inculcate it after getting back home if he really wants to control his disease,” Babina Nandakumar, Chief Medical Officer told the media
As per the norms of the Jindal Naturecare Institutte, usually the diabetes control process takes 3-4 weeks to get cured, but the Delhi chief minister may not be able to spare that much time, so the treatment is being fast paced to a 10 day regimen. Doctors are hopeful that they can assist Arvind with same,after which he will have to continue treatment at home.
“Last time when he came, he did not have any chronic cough problem. He had come for diabetes, so that is the added line of treatment that is being worked out” she added. A staff working at the Jindal Naturecure Institute told TEHELKA, Arvind and his family have been accommodated at the Nest area of the Institute which will enable him more privacy, than is available to the other inmates. The area is usually reserved for VVIP’s , celebrities and big businessmen who come to Jindal for treatments.
