After the massive furore over the CBI raid on his Principal secretary’s office Rajender Kumar by the CBI, The Delhi Cheif Minister Kejriwal has now given a new twist to the raging controversy. He has in dramatic revelation claimed that the CBI during the raid kept reading files related to Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA) in his office. The agency allegedly instead seized the file movement register of the Chief Minister’s office from September 15 till December 15 and a copy of AAP Cabinet decision of June 11 according to Kejriwal.

After hitting out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kejriwal in his latest jibe targetted Finance Minister Arun Jaitley claiming that CBI raids on the Delhi Secretariat were aimed to save him and access files in the DDCA graft case. “Which file was CBI looking for in my office? DDCA files in which Arun Jaitley is in dock. I was about to order a commission of enquiry,” Kejriwal added.

Kejriwal also alleged that the CBI was interested in files related to the Delhi and District Cricket Association, which Jaitley headed for over a decade. “CBI kept reading DDCA file in my office. They wud hv seized it. But after my media briefing, they left it. Not clear if they took a copy,” the CM tweeted. “Why is Jaitley ji so scared of DDCA probe? What is his role in DDCA scam?”

Kejriwal tweeted, “Documents seized from my office. No relation to allegations being probed. Item 7 -file movement register of last one month. CBI kept reading DDCA file in my office. They would have seized it. But after my media briefing, they left it. Not clear if they took a copy.”

Meanwhile , the finance minister Arun Jaitley has  rejected outright  Kejriwal’s wild  allegations of financial irregularities . “This morning’s statement appeared to be prima facie incorrect. But the evening one seemed to be absolutely rubbish and I do not think I need to respond to this rubbish,” he had said. It looks like the war of words between the AAP and the BJP would continue in the days to come.
