Amid tense in Punjab following terrorist attack, Pakistan Rangers, violating ceasefire, targeted border outposts in Jammu district of  Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistan Rangers resorted to small arms firing on BoPs along IB in Arnia sector of Jammu district, a BSF officer told PTI.

The BSF officer added: “ There was no loss of life or injury to anyone in the firing. BSF troops exercised restraint and did not reply to the firing.”

In the month of July, there have been over 13 ceasefire violations by Pakistan along Indo-Pak border. One woman was killed and 12 people were injured.
