Air ambulance with patient, doctor makes emergency landing near Bahadurgarh, all safe



An air ambulance belonging to the Alchemist Group had an emergency landing in Kair village in the proximity of Bahadurgarh today. The incident took place following failure of an engine of the air ambulance, which was carrying a doctor, a patient and his relatives. According to DSP Bahadurgarh, Dheeraj Kumar, the air ambulance had to do an emergency landing in view of failure of an engine.

The DSP confirmed that all those who were in the air ambulance are safe. Following failure of an engine, the pilot got directions for safe landing. A major tragedy was averted due to the alertness of the pilot who landed the air ambulance safely in the fields. Villagers from Sidhpur village helped those inside the air ambulance to come out and after arrival of police, the patient, relatives and doctor were sent to the hospital.

An eye witness Devendera of Luxmi Vihar colony informed that air ambulance made two rounds of the colony for safe landing. Thereafter, it was safely landed in the fields, about 5-6 kms from the colony. He said that patient in the air ambulance was in coma and rest everyone was safe. He said that pilot had shown alertness and averted a major tragedy and he should be honoured.
