Sakshi Maharaj supports Khattar, wants law to hang those who slaughter cows

sakshi-maharajBharatiya Janata Party MP, Sakshi Maharaj on 17 October found nothing wrong with Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar for his beef remark.

It may be recalled that the Khattar was at the receiving end for his statement that “Muslims should quit beef eating”.

Stating that nobody has the right to play with people’s religious sentiments, Sakshi Maharaj exhorting the audience to protect cows, said a law should be formulated to hang those responsible for cow slaughter.

While speaking at a meeting held by International Hindu Mahasangha in Bhubaneswar, the Unnao MP said there was nothing wrong with Khattar’s statement.

Sakshi Maharaj also supported the Jammu and Kashmir BJP MLA who beat up independent MLA Sheikh Abdul Rashid inside the Assembly for throwing a beef party. Calling it a “natural reaction,” he said leaders ‘need to change their mindset or get beaten up by the people in public view”.

He warned the Naveen Patnaik-led Odisha government over “rising cases of religious conversion” in the state.

“We don’t want to intervene in the matter. But, if Odisha government doesn’t stop it, we have to intervene,” he said, demanding Hindu temples and mutts must be protected in the state.
