2014 PM Candidates Rahul, Kejriwal Wish PM Modi On His 65th Birthday

On the 65th Birthday of Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi, 2014 Prime Ministerial candidate Congress’s Rahul Gandhi and Aam Aadmi Party’s Arvind Kejriwal, and other leaders took to the micro-blogging website,Twitter, to wish him.

Rahul Gandhi writes, “Best wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modiji on his birthday. @narendramodi.”

Replying to the Rahul’s wish, Modi tweets, “@OfficeOfRG Rahul ji, thank you for the kind wishes.”  


Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also tweets, “Greetings to Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi ji on his birthday. My prayers for his health and long life.”

Union Home minister Rajnath Singh tweets, “Greetings to the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on his birthday today. May God bless him with good health and long life.”

“On behalf of whole of Gujarat and myself, I extend warm birthday greetings to our Prime Minister,” tweeted Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel.

“Happy Birthday Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Your leadership is transforming India! We are all privileged to be on your Team India,” wrote Minister of State (MoS) for Finance Jayant Sinha.

“I wish you good health and prosperity on your birthday Shri. Narendra Modi ji,” wrote Siddaramaiah, Chief Minister of Karnataka.

Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, “Wishing our beloved Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji a very happy birthday.”

The PM, however, has asked the party to not put up posters to celebrate the occasion. To mark the day, Twitter has balloons floating all over Modi’s page.
