According to media reports, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval also submitted a report to the Prime Minister in this context.
The PM and Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh were also briefed by Doval about the intelligence collected before the meeting. The CCS has met twice since Special Forces personnel crossed the LoC.
The CCS includes Singh, Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar. The members, who were told that a dozen terrorist launch pads were so far identified, were told that Pakistan infantry was protecting them the LoC.
